A graduate of Penn State University, Barb McClatchy pursued
a career in business communications in the health care industry before years in corporate America inspired her to write fiction
again as a means of escaping the Ivory Towers, if only on the page. A veteran who has occasionally worn corporate shackles
within the proverbial Towers herself, her writing typically focuses on the dichotomy between corporate America’s short-term
objectives and the pursuit of meaning in the daily grind. She’s authored three novels, one of which
is currently available in print. When she's not working the day job to put food on the table or writing to keep her sanity,
she runs, plays volleyball and works on her tennis game. She lives outside Philadelphia with her very patient and supportive
husband Mickey and, when blessed with their presence, her daughter Alison and three stepdaughters, Maureen, Maggie and Jamie,
all four of whom are beyond beautiful both inside and out.
